1. Take responsibility.
If you make a mess, clean it up. If you damage something, make amends. If you charge something, make sure you have the money or means to pay for it.
2. Be helpful, not harmful.
Help your family, friends, and community by doing good deeds, using manners and nice language, and promoting positive values. Don't hurt others, damage property, use profanity, and create a negative vibe.
3. Education is a life time endeavor that will enrich your life.
Besides earning a college degree, you should learn how to fix a flat tire, invest in the stock market, plan for retirement, organize a trip abroad, put up curtains, learn a new language, etc.

Follow the Golden Rule: treat others as you wish to be treated. The ten commandments flow from the Golden Rule. Do that and you will be a person with a strong sense of morality.

Always treat people with respect, if they can't or choose not to treat you with respect than walk away if you can.
Never do any harm, emotional or physical to anyone or any living thing. No matter what the cost (friends, job) you never do harm with your words or actions.
Always be responsible for yourself and those you love and let them know that you love them.
This way of life is not always easy but you will always be able to sleep better knowing that you tried to be a good person.

That's a tough one! I've tried to teach my sweet darlin daughter all the basics! Take a look at the 10 commandments and you can pretty much sum it up.
Does this mean she has followed my lead? NO! LOL, of course not but she tries and that counts! Of course I do not always lead the way I should - I am a human after all!

Honesty. My dad was a very kind and easy going man. He got along with everyone. All kinds of ppl.
But if it was dishonest he didn't do it. Period. No rationalizing that the company makes too much money off us anyway, or that what they don't know won't hurt them.
He charged everyone the same price, and treated everyone the same.
I hope my kids are known for their honesty.

Not to make fun of people for how they look,...God created everyone differently for a reason. This is important to me because I want them to treat everyone equally, no matter what they look like, where they come from, how much money they have, etc...Amongst other things, this was just the first one that came to mind.

of course the golden rule, manners (please, thank you, excuse me), to always give to the less fortunate, you never know what the future may bring, everyone is diffrent but we all deserve the same amount of respect, no matter color, sexual orientation, or religion. And treat children wilth love and kindness they are our future. These are all things i feel strongly about.
