Well I think it is a good move for Dale Jr. to join the Hendrick team. We can find out how really good he is. No more blown engines. I just wish Gordon wasn't his teammate. Oh well. nothong I can do about that.

I believe Dale wasn't looking at the big picture when he decided to leave DEI. I think in the long run it would have been good for him to stay there, but I don't think he used good judgment in the way he handled things this year. He used his sister to negotiate with DEI, he should have used a professional for that. Now he's bringing his crew chief cousin with him to Hendricks. Jr talks to him like crap on the radio, whereas someone that's not family would take charge of the situation. I see Jr doing about the same as far as wins go in 2008. Let's face it, he's not his dad. I do wish him luck.

it's kinda creepy. Junior rocks, and he deserves a better "ride", and i'm happy that team Hendrick is so cool as to have him on their team, but it's sad that he actually had to leave DEI in the first place. I would have liked to have seen Earnhardt, Truex and Martin, dust off the "field". Now I have to watch the #1 car race against the #88, and that won't be too much fun.

Personally, I love this move because I don't have to worry about blown engines anymore from DEI and I know that Junior will be able to win tons of races with Hendrick. Also, Dale Junior will be able to have an even larger fan base because they will be able to advertise directly to children now since he is with Amp and National Guard rather than with Budweiser.
Overall, I am extremely excited about Junior's move to Hendrick Motorsports and can't wait until the Daytona 500 in February.

Right now I'm not worried about any driver or team. I just want to start seeing some good racing again. It has been too many years now that NASCAR has gone to the crapper. It is hard for me to stop watching being a long time fan, (27+ years) but it has to turn around soon or I will.

We will get to see now if Dale Jr. is nothing more than a fraud, or if he just needed a stable team to show his talents (which I belive for now). Should be fun to see how he does.
