We would still have regulation, just increase the numbers. Clearly our economy can handle it, they are already here

Currently we are permitting so many LEGAL people to immigrate into the USA, the size of the population of the USA will be 4 times what it is today as a result of that number of entries by 2020. Add to that the illegals.

Of that legal number 50% are Mexicanos. Beyond that all the other countries of the world have their numbers. I don't know exactly but MANY are from central and south america.

This Hispanization of the USA is a big question mark for me.
What happened to the rest of the world? When I look around Mexico, and Central and South AMerica, certainly there are good people, great ideas but I don't see skills associated with a broad range of the kind of things the USA needs.

Argue with it all you want but the USA is going to become principally Mexican in the long run if things don't shift. Add to that the other Hispanics (many of whom don't particularly like Mexicanos) and I really see nothing but a down hill slide for the USA. Look around you to the South. See anything you like or would want to live by or within? I"ve been all through that area of the world and I see no great cultures, fabulous ideas or miraculous solutions to the kinds of challenges our world is facing.

And what is your suggestion for the people from other nations that wish to come here? we can only accept so many a year, and remember, most people from other nations are willing to assimilate into our society and learn English, whereas the Mexicans and most Spanish speaking people demand dual language schools and legal papers be printed in Spanish.
Just look around you and you'll see what I say is true, just about every sign and instruction sheet or paper in this country is written in English and Spanish. No such privileges are afforded to any other nationality. Enough is enough.
When the my parents and those of my husband came to this country they had to understand English to qualify for citizenship, yet the Spanish of today are exempt, or seem to be.

per your question "14 hours ago

"Who says we can only take so many?"
The United States immigration service makes that determination as to how many immigrants we are able to absorb in any given year, and from what country. Since there are only so many allowed each year, why should those from Mexico or South America get preference> We might need qualified professional people, but we sure don't need many more farm workers or grass cutters.

I dont think so,

Im not trying to be mean but i think there are enough people in the U.S now, the more people the more money and food and other neccesties will decrease to meet demands of the people that are coming in..

For example I have 1 watermelon left. If I share it with 2 people there's a large amount for each person.. as the people I share the fruit with increases, the amount for each person decreases.

I think allowing more people into the U.S would cause problems economically

Guess what. SSP/NAU is actively being defeated in Congress as you play cat and mouse with these people on this YA board. Bush only has a few more months in office and then we are going to get a US President onboard that is going to kick your illegal a**** out of this country and secure our borders. What have you got to say about that?

***************************************************

I don't care if you are descended from Benedict Arnold. If you are proposing that the USA commit immigration suicide by Hispanic, you are one goofy, seditious a******.

A real American would not believe that opening our country's floodgates to illegals is a sound or patriotic suggestion. Folks trying to destroy the USA will be filtered out of the USA. End of story.

Sure...wonderful idea! Then we can pass laws that require all Americans to speak the language of at least 10 latin American countries, replace all traffic signs with signs in those same languages, require all American citizens to carry green cards, take away all their health and other subsistence benefits so the latinos can have free coverage, allow only latinos to be in any law enforcement agency, force all Americans to live in government established ghettos, and so on and so on. The main idea here is to totally destroy America's identity.

Because any quota we may have had for low skilled workers from those areas has already been exceeded 20 times over by illegal immigration. In order for us to have any type of logical immigration program we have to secure the border.

We need to put more restrictions on immigration in general. Your taking way too many people than we can absorb at the moment.
