Hey you! I see the link that she provided above has some good info. I did notice that is it from 2006 though. If you are referring to info that has just been recently published and on the news then it was the study involving coffee. It showed those who drink at least 5 cups of coffee or 6 cups of tea cut their risk of Alzheimer's by 30% +. The first article I attached below is pretty good and also speaks about fish oil supplements and hypertension meds.
So now they are encouraging us to drink the caffeine they kept saying was so bad for us! lol Actually, the more they study coffee ... the better it seems to be. It just gets bad when you drink your coffee like I do:
"Um ... excuse me ma'am ... did you want some coffee with your sugar and cream?? lol
Peace ...

Not specifically for Alzheimers. But anything like crosswords, something to keep the brain active. I play Brain Games on the Nintendo DS. They are fun and I improve each and every day. Got to keep the brain young, especially since I can't do anything about the body!

Christee rocks!
I love her answer.....
One thing I thought I may add is that there are known links between high aluminum intake and Alzheimer's.......I no longer drink out of cans.....who knows it could be the small action needed.......
There is a lot of info out there.....but keeping your mind active seems to be the only consistent thing.
Peace.

Only allow your brain to think about sexual activities. Then you can have a one track mind, and ward off other thoughts that may be harmful to your brain.
