I personally like to eat, but my sister is very picky and eats just to live.

I "live to eat".
So many flavors, cuisines and everyone has family favorites, I can't imagine just eating to live. Just feel sorry for them that they miss out on so much just because they're squeamish.

Well, if I didn't have to eat and I woudl never be hungry, The I wouldn't eat, I would eat for fun, for the taste, or if I'm simply bored... But If I'm hungry and I can surivie without food I'd obviously eat, eating for me is both, there is diffrent kind of food to choose from, No one can taste every food style that has exsit in the world, some people go on trips to do that...

Additional Details: everyone has to eat from time to time anyway so why not both likes to eat & eat to live=I have sea food allergies & if I wasn't picky this could kill me but I always ask especially if eating out.

I will write that both is my answer. I need to eat in order do things that are necessary to function, some know exactly what the need to eat provided that it is healthy or safe.I believe that you can do all by eating with tastefully, what you need and to sustain yourself.
