God has all the power.
Satan only has power if you give him the authority to have power over you.

Satan only has the power that God has given him. Read Job. Satan doesn't just go and do what he wants to Job. God gives him permission but then tells him not to hurt Job. If you are already so powerful why bother asking God if you can do something? You would just go do it.

Christians seem to think Satan is MORE powerful than God, who apparently, isn't able to just destroy an angel.

no, because satan is not equal with God in anyway. He only has the power that God allows Him to have.

Satan was originally an angel (Lucifer). God created the angels, so I doubt that any are as powerful as He.

Since no living person has ever met Satin or God and there is no absolute proof that either even exists What ever you believe is OK , It is your faith not someone elses. If people would just let people believe what ever they believe and not feel that the world must agree with them then the world would be a wonderful place to live .

god is omnipotent - all powerful. There is no "half as" or "a "quarter of or "5% as" . anything matched with infinite is no better than zero.
Satan has power as we see it... but god is all-powerful. There is no comparing the two.
god bless

Satan only does what God allows him to do.
Now, satan’s fulfilling the negative side of God’s plan. However, when God’s done with him at end of the millennium, he’s going into the lake of fire. He’s the only one by name who has been sentenced to suffer the second death, the death of the soul ... lake of fire. God’s going turn satan to ashes from within
Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
The above verse is what God will do to satan, the prince of Tyrus, which is one of satan’s titles.
Also, the fallen angles, the ones who left their place of habitation, heaven, and came to earth, not to be born of woman, but to seduce them, will go into the Lake of Fire.
Ezekiel Chapter 28:14-15
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
“The anointed cherub the covereth”, in the above verse, was satan before his fall from grace.

How can you divide infinite power? Half of infinite power is still infinite power.
