do you have to go through h r block to get the holiday loan if you usual go througgh jackson hewitt for yor tax refund

H&R block is only doing the loans this year for customers. i.e. people who have filed their taxes through H&R block for at least the last 2 years.
Also it is not so much a loan as it is extended credit, they are issuing pre-paid mastercards this year and there is a monthly 30 dollar fee you must pay on the card.

Unless you were a Block customer in 2005 or 2006 you won't be eligible according to the Block website.

It sounds like so far H&R is the only one doing them this year, and they are only available to someone who was their customer in the last 2 years.
