There are 5 recalls listed at the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration -Office of Defects Investigation ( http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov )
As Gearbox1 correctly stated the first one is for aftermarket (Southern Comfort Conversions ) running boards.
The other 4 are for aftermarket exterior replacement lighting.
None of the recalls are for Ford OEM equippment.
But you don't have to take our word for it .
The NHTSA website offers a complete list of recalls on any vehicle.
It is readily available to the public from the web link that I gave above.
Here is the expanded print version for the 2003 Expedition:

polkan47 listed mostly Technical Bulletins (these are messages to dealers and other mechanics that if this issue is found, here is the fix basically..But Ford won't pay for them outside factory warranty or Extended service protection plans if bought with the vehicle)
The recall he listed was for Southern Comfort , who is a aftermarket builder and installer of accessories for trucks in the US..and the part recalled is their part , Not Ford.
Calling Ford and giving them the vin number is the only way to be 100% sure but as of today ,there are no recalls on a 03 Expedition issued by Ford (Just checked)

101 is on the right track. If you have a drain plug at the BOTTOM of the differential housing, this would be a rare occurrence. Usually, you have to remove the cover to drain the differential, no neat and clean way to do it, remove the bolts starting at the bottom and just loosen the top two or so and pry the cover off. It'll spill out all over the place, but this is USUALLY the way it's done. The filler hole is ABOUT halfway up on the housing, (give or take), and it is usually not a bolt shape, but a square indentation that you remove with a socketless ratchet. Fill this until it pours out of the filler plug, and you'll be at the proper level.
