It's not "should you feel guilty" but it seems you might feel so. If you're a in a city, you want to learn to handle all kinds of situations like that quickly and by yourself. Working in a nightclub you come in contact with a horny party crowd, so as soon as someone says something suggestive to you, just say "cool it. you're not my type." Then it he/she keeps on, a tough FK off, dude will draw the line. It just sounds like you're a little inexperienced or young. I know the women will not think you overreacted, and if you're female I agree, but if you're a guy I think you sort of did (unless you felt threatened). I'd say since it's a nightclub, you'll learn how to set the limits. I know it's annoying when somebody truly ugly tries for you or gropes you. I have had to deal with lots of that in clubs, but on one level it's just a compliment to you, and if you don't feel threatened, just cut them off short next time and that usually works. If it doesn't quit, then complain but realize that clubbers are often horndogs and some will pounce on any new meat that comes through.

You have nothing to feel guilty about. He is a colleague and he should have respected you and how he behaved around you and the questions he asked are inappropriate. Your boss did the right thing by firing the bouncer as he has a duty to keep all of his staff safe and you clearly weren't.

Go back to enjoying your job without guilt

Good Luck
