Hello,
There are 4 sticks in 16 oz. pack.
One stick have 1/2 cup of butter.
1/2 cup is equal to 113grams (4oz) also is equal to 8 tbsp.
1 cup of butter is equal to 226 grams (or 8oz)
I wrote this by looking at a butter stick to make sure.

All have it surrounded, but 1/2 cup is equal to 4 oz and that is equal to 125 grams or 1/4 pound imperial weight, from Canada, former chef, learned the Metric system back in the 1970's

Is dependent on the context really. Which is better as a snack - fruits to me. It's tastier and gives you that tad of sweetness. Which can be better as a snack if you are trying hard to minimize back on sugar and lose weight vegetables
