Yesterday, I dad told me to go straight to a University if i got accepted to either UCSD, UCLA, or UC Davis. Personally, i want to go to a community college first if i did not get accepted to UCSD, but at this point, i do not think I have a choice. My dad wants to kick me out of the house after I finish High School. Plus, he said that he could not support me after i go to college. In this case, i have to leave the house when I finish High School, and support myself without my parents' aid. should I move out after I graduate from high school, or should i go to a community college for two years even though my dad wants to kick me out?

NOOOO avoid military. You will be sent to Iraq. BIG MISTAKE

Get a job at Boeing they pay 100% for school and are located in every state in the usa. Go to link and make a resume account.

I would do the community college thing so you are not paying as much and so you can really get use to the college setting and see if its even what ya want to do. But working at Boeing will pay just as much as any job after you get your BA or AA anyways..

I think you should go to a good school. Not that community collage would make a difference, but a good school looks better on your resume. I think that it's mean that your dad wants to kick you out and stop supporting you. He shouldn't expect you to automatically have money after your graduate from High school. That is plain wrong. What does your mom say? You should probably just go to UCLA or something and stay in a dorm, get a part time job, and start working your way to the top. Maybe your dad thinks that you just want to live off of their money for a long time...show him that you don't need that. Although 18 is the leagal age to move on your own and all of that good stuff, I still think that it's too young to fend for yourself. Good Luck.

Okay... if your dad is paying for you to go to one of those big colleges, then go there first.
If he is NOT paying for you to go to college, you go where you want.
Community colleges are a great way to get an Associate's degree in an actual career field while knocking out some credits that will transfer to a higher college. The cost of course tuition is considerably cheaper, too.
Talk to your high school and local community college counselors about things like financial aid, credit transfers and all that.
