mister citicop got it all wrong first of all the postal service has nothing to do with anything federal anymore, they are a private company only thing is that their benefits are through the governament still.. as he mentioned air marshalls well excuse me but that falls under the jurisdiction of the Transportation security administration TSA which is a office of Dept of Homeland security... the capitol police are a STATE AGENCY THESE ARE STATE WORKERS USALLY STATE TROOPERS THAT ARE REASSIGNED ! as for the pentagon police .. again another division of Homeland security... The us parks service is state also .. and your postal inspectors are private and its state by state
