Many Christians come up with a phantom scripture saying we sin without knowing. Can somebody after the death of Jesus who washed us in his blood free from sin show me this scripture that we sin without knowing? And as well we have future sin? I read make an end to sin so that eliminates all future sin.

My hunch is that they borrowed this idea from one of the Old Testament offerings (trespass offering?) where the priests made an atonement for the sins committed without knowledge. I don't have my concordance handy so I don't have the reference.

There is a big, big difference between following the Law of Moses and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm with you on this one. A believer may wander or stumble or be tricked into sinning, as happened in Galatians 6, but a true believer won't want to stay in a backslidden condition for very long. Voice of experience here!

The only other example I can think of is in Acts 15, where the Gentile believers were asked to refrain from the four items. Whether this was sin against Jewish believers who were more or less offended by these things, or against God Himself, was a moot point. These Gentiles may not have known that eating blood or things strangled was a sin, but with the new information, they were made aware of it. Aren't you glad God doesn't make "ex post facto" laws?

Sin is doing something that is expressly forbidden by God or doing something you have a guilty conscience over or doing something that causes someone else to sin. If you stayed in bed all day, you would sin by being sloathful. We will continue to sin all of our lives but Christ's redeeming blood washes them all away. This doesn't give us a license to sin though. We don't try to live better to gain salvation but as a result of salvation. We won't reach perfection until we are resurrected.

Okay if i read You correctly, You want a chpt&v from post-Gospel New Testament. I know there are unintentional sins listed in the older parts of the Old Testament. I don't remember any mention of it in the New. However, if You think any adult human can live more than five minutes in this world without flubbing up, You are most certainly holier than I!

In the book of Job. Job prayed for the sins that were committed unaware for himself and his family before all the bad things happened to him.

He stayed faithful to God.

Hey, what does it matter? We sin when we are born apparently, and we don't know it then. Atheists rock.
