There is someone at work who helps me out all year long by voluntarily covering for me when I'm on vacation. I would like to give her a small token of my appreciation, even though I did not draw her name for Secret Santa. Obviously, I will give a gift to the person whose name I drew, but is it okay to give gifts to other people too?

Only if you do it with an outside luncheon arrangement or after work drink. It's better not to show a personal preference in the work environment. But it's okay to do.

I would want to draw BUK---- An ID that wouldnt get suspended like he has been for at least 150 times. The guy is a riot, and after he gets trolled to suspension, he creates another ID and comes back with the same avatar. He's funny, witty, and has one of the most wicked senses of humor of anyone I have known for most of my adult life. As we say down in the South... he is "good people"....

Everyone already said it...yes.

However, if your worried about violating some secret Santa law your company has, just give her the gift in private.

Of course, it's okay. She would probably really like that you got her a gift, too.

Of course it is, unless there is some policy against it. I do it all the time.
