I think you should give your cars to me. That way you wouldn't feel anymore guilt.

You must not even be old enough to drive if you think cars are the cause of global warming. They may be a very small, infintesimal cause, but natural processes are THE cause and neither you nor I can stop it by driving a hybrid car. You can't turn the sun into a hybrid. You can't explain why there was an ice age that warmed up thousands of years ago. You can't explain why Al Gore was a keynote speaker at the Wealth Expo in San Francisco last summer whose speech was about profiting from global climate change...well, you could but that would mean calling him and his movement a fraud. He is, you know.

Hello from Mr.Nicko, Catwomens' hubby. I restore antique & classic cars for a living , check out Popular Hot Rodding 11/05 issue . The red '69 that took the cup , that's my metal work . My bud Scott , did the paint . The answer , is change your carb to an alcohol one .Ya , it will take twice the gallons to run vs gas . But your cars will burn cleaner , good for the environment , good for the cars . You can even use a soy bean oil to run in them . You wont believe the difference this does for an engine ! Ya it cost a lot more to run this way , but your cars will thankyou for it .Godbless !

Well, considering you aren't the only person pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere I'd say don't feel to guilty about driving your hot rods a few times. Be mad at those Hummer owners who burn about 123285472904572945 times more fossil fuels than u. I'd say you are doing an amazing thing by trying to protect human life forms, but no matter what if people keep cutting down trees it wont matter how much C02 is in the air because for 1 we wont be alive much longer and 2 - all the C02 will stay in the air because trees take in the carbon-dioxide then give us oxygen. But, I mean cows fart out a lot of greenhouse gases :]

Gwen's18 is right you don't put a electric motor in a 68 cougar ! that's wrecking a good muscle car.. no muscle behind that lol.. but you are doing the right thing.. just make them as a hobby like collecting expensive toys.. people colletc guns ect don't mean they use them.. get a cheap environmental friendly car to drive..

Enjoy your cars.
We don't have to give up the things we love to fight global warming. There are plenty of ways to help.
Do the ones that work for you. Some ideas are compact fluorescent lights, a programmable thermostat, better insulation, fix air leaks in your home.
If you have the money, a solar power system would offset a whole lot.
Maybe get a very economical car for going to the grocery store, or getting parts for your cars.
You get the idea. This isn't about making our lives worse, it's about making them better.
The alcohol idea isn't bad, either.

Stick to your cars! Their impact is zero when compared to real polluters like factories. You do not have to feel bad for a hobby you enjoy so much, every hobby is polluting in one way or another, and it doesn't matter if some of them are a bit more polluting than others. You are a polluter for as long as you live anyway so you should lead your life the way you have the most fun.

i really want to help the earth . In school i study geography , trying to learn all kinds of ways to save the earth , because it is important if not maybe we or our nxt generation will suffer the problems brought by global warming . Global warming is a real problem , earthquakes , flooding are happening more frequently . Severe storms are getting more . If we dont do our part in saving the world , then ....
We can do lots of things to save the world , by recycling and reducing usage of things that may affect the environment . Just remember the 3 R when you do anything . PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT . PROTECT YOUR HOME . PROTECT YOUR KIDS . PROTECT THE PLANTS . PROTECT YOURSELF .
Choose the car if it is environmental friendly

Moderation is the aim here...you may fix them up and rarely drive them if you have antique status in your state. You can also convert them to be using bio-diesel or hydrogen fuel cells to be a new clean machine with vintage appeal!!!
I know you want authenticity!!
Who will care when a new species takes over after we are extinct!!!! We may be just a greedy transition species for a new one on the horizon when we max out to our carrying capacity in 2047-2075 depending on the population flow!!!

Keep the cars in tune and consider adding something like a Prius, a Smart Car or a Zenn to the fleet for everyday driving.

Global Warming is more imortant than cars since cars are mainly the cause of it. I suggest finding something better to run them on or getting a Hybrid like me.
