Why does my cat pee around the house.
Like in the closets and stuff. Shes not locked in the room?
I think its because her littler box isnt clean but my dad was like "it is clean, i dont clean it everyday but i never had to clean it everyday and we didnt have this problem" so like he cleans it when hes supposed to but not every day. LOL help?

There are several things that could be causing her to go outside of her box.
She could have an urinary track infection or crystals in her urine in which she should be brought to a vet.
She also might be getting pickier and need her box scooped everyday(this should be done anyways)
She also might be acting out because of change in the house hold.( someone moving in or out,a new pet or the loss of an older pet, less time spent with her)
Or she could be spraying. Yes female cats do spray to mark their territory just like a male cat does.just not as often.

If this is a new problem you need to take the cat to the vet and get her checked out. She might have an infection.

I've had some cats that got pickier as they got older. The litter box might need to be scooped every day now. It's not that big of a job to do......you could do it too.

If the cat is getting less attention then she is used to that might be causing a change in behavior, too.

Clean it after the cat uses it. IF the cat decides it's too messy the cat will look for another place to poop and pee. It's like us going in to the bathroom and finding that the last two people who used the toilet didn't flush.

I scoop every time I see the litter disturbed.

Well, you're available, too. If you think the litter box should be cleaned more often, then scoop the litter box yourself.

Anyways, if it's a new habit for your cat, she may need to be seen by a vet. Common symptom of urinary tract infection is urinating outside of the box.
