It sounds like she is in trouble. If she's in trouble the pups are in trouble. Call the vet now! Her life and that of her pups depend on what you do. Do the right thing and get her some help.

You need to try and see if she is still having contractions. If not, then you're probably safe. Some dogs can go a very long time between puppies without posing much danger. It's normal for her to bleed afterwards... Does she seem comfortable? If so, she is most likely okay. If she seems like she is straining still, you should be concerned enough to call a vet soon.
Good luck!

yes pups can die if not delivered in about an hour. You should not allow more than an hour between pups.
It's best to get her and the pups to a vet immediately.

RELAX! It takes time. I just had a litter of 10 puppies 4 weeks ago. Some where 10min apart, some where 30min. We even had a couple 3 hours apart. If after 6 hours and no pup, I would then bring her into the vet. Poeple on here really have no experience and are vet crazy, and tend to tell people they are evil if they do not bring their dog in for a sneeze. So relax, enjoy this experience. Inbetween puppies, make sure you let them nurse, but when she is really getting close to deliver, put them in a warm box if she is a med.-large dog. Good luck!

No one here can tell you what's going on, no one can see your dog. You need to call your vet.

I'm afraid if your pet is still having contractions,or still bearing down as in pushing.there is still pups within her AND IF SHE ISN'T PASSING ANYMORE PUPS and still pushing you need to call your vet,as a pup is lodged in birth canal and all pups left inside of her will die and she will to if she doesn't have a C-Section asap.
