don't give up eating your metabolism will stop and you won't loose as much as you could if you do eat. eat 6 small meals a day. for example:
eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast
fat free cheese stick for snack
salad for lunch w/fat free dressing
celery w/pb for snack
chicken and broccoli for dinner
jello with fat free whipped cream for dessert

your metabolism will speed up and with out carbs the weight melts off.

Hon, this is not risk-free to try this. Your physique desires capability to do any variety of pastime, and nutrition is what can provide that capability. Your maximum suitable guess may be to consume greater protein food, cut back your bread, flour and sugar intake. cut back sugar drinks, exceptionally sodas - drink a lot of water and a few fruit juices like apple, peach, grape. replace any candy or cakes with fruit or dark chocolate (which has much less sugar yet incorporates rather some antioxidants). strolling for an hour 5 days a week is robust - do no longer push your self too a approaches and be confident to take a pair of days off. Take it slow, take it hardship-free, and the load will come off. Cram and tension your self and you risk severe wellness issues, even dying. unquestionably, you will experience great even after 10 kilos, 20 kilos will experience superb, and something will paintings out. do purely no longer do something risky like what you're suggesting - this is totally risky. you may unquestionably lose 10 kilos a month, so which you would be able to lose that weight in 5 months on the main.

healthy food choices and portion control is the best and most effective way to loose weight, When you dont eat, your metabolism slows and will make your body hold on everything it has.

Try exercising, something as simple as taking a walk everyday, Lets face it, not even I could wake up tomorrow and decide "I'm going to run a mile today". It would never happen.

Try a diet with protein, and veggies and fruits. You could also try weight loss program to help keep you motivated.

The starvation diet seems like it would work, but eventually you'll give into eating, and over do it because you've denied yourself.

Keep a journal of everything you eat, they sell Calorie counting books, and you can set a goal of 1200 calories and stick with it.

Weight loss is a slow process.... it sucks that weight gain is a quick one. But the best and most effective way is lifestyle change.

good luck and I hope whatever you choose works for you

If you give up on eating, your body will only demand more food, and it becomes increasingly difficult to keep it up.

...A better alternative, I think, is to look at the calories of everything you eat, make sure it doesn't add up to more than 2000 calories/day. It's ok to eat 2000 Calories/day right now, because your current body weight requires more than 2000Calories/day to maintain, so if you only eat 2000, you'll start losing weight.
Avoid fast foods and sodas (anything with high fructose corn syrup in it, that goes straight to fat, not energy), no butter, less meat, lots of fruits and vegetables. Lots of water, that makes you feel full, but has no calories. Eat less salt as well, if you have less salt in your body, you wouldn't retain as much fluids, and will cost you to lose a few pounds initially.

I find that many people who switch from the typical American diet to Asian diets tend to lose weight automatically (not fast food Chinese, here, I'm talking real Asian food with lots of veggies, low salt, and low meat). If you eat lots of veggies, you wouldn't have room to eat the fatty stuff and it's still low calories.

Exercise as much as you can. The more muscles you have, the more fat it will burn since muscles automatically consume fat when you're resting.

Keep a diary of everything you eat each day, even small snacks and drinks. This automatically makes you more aware and will start subtracting the unnecessary stuff.

Good luck! You're on a tough road, but it'll be worth it when you slim down and feel better

You shouldn't really starve yourself. You should change your diet. Try to eat more fruit and vegetable as supposed to fatty stuff (i.e. french fries, hambergers, anything comes out of fast restaurant needs a caution there!) Try cereal, wheat bread, etc.

Another important thing is exercise. By exercise I mean not type of weight training to build up your muscle, but aerobic exercise! Jogging, swimming, basketball, you name it. And also make sure you exercise frequently! It doesn't help if you do it once a week or once 2 weeks. Preferably everyday, or maybe try every other day.

Weight reduction is a difficult process. It's much easier to gain than to loss. But the ending is worth it because first, you improve your health by reducing your cardiovascular disease risk; then you could make yourself look better, stronger, more fit.

Good luck. Try to get a plan from a physical therapist or a gym trainer something.

That is not the way to go about losing weight. Your body will go into starvation mode and retain the fat because it has nothing else to feed off of. Small meals a couple times a day. Protein rich. Cut down carbs and sugar. Exercise daily, with cardio and weights. NO starvation-just a bad idea. Speak with a trainer and or nutrionist. GO to a gym, they will set up a workout plan for you.

A couple of days will do nothing for you. what you need to do is learn to eat healthy and adopt that as a new way of life. You also need to exercise, when exactly did you play football? If you aren't now, then it's a moot point.

You will only be losing water weight (our bodies are mostly water), not fat, unless you completely starve for months. Not a smart way to go. Be wise, begin to eat right, exercise and then you will keep it off for good.

When you begin a diet, hunger is the one thing you have to overcome. For many people, a diet means forgoing food or reducing food intake. It is too difficult for most people to endure. That is why many diets do not work.

It is human nature that we do not want to starve, and hence we will try to ensure we get adequate food all the time. Sometimes, when we go hungry due to a diet, we will overcompensate by eating much more at another time. If you are trying to maintain a diet that makes you feel hungry all the time, then there is little possibility to succeed.

The outcome for most people after having to endure this period of hardship is to get back onto the ‘eating too much’ bandwagon and pile the weight back on that has been lost on the diet, albeit at a far faster rate. That is why people who managed to lose their weight initially may overeat at a later date. Hence, you may end up more disappointed than before.

To succeed, you need to have a sensible diet, not a fad diet that is espoused by many celebrities. Reduce your food intake by a little each time, and make sure that you do not deprive yourself of all your favourite food totally. If you have been on an unhealthy diet, or had been eating huge portions, it may be more beneficial to cut down bit by bit each time.

You are setting yourself up for weight GAIN, not loss.

When you starve yourself, any food you eat after will get stored as fat right away b/c you have taught your body that it may not get food for a long time.

I'm thin and I eat 6 times a day, really small meals. My body knows that food is coming (I eat every couple of hours while awake) so I burn calories like crazy.

Eat small healthy meals throughout the day and you'll lose weight.
