Until Mexico--and MexiCANs-- take personal responsibility and accountability for growing a pair and forcing the needed financial, legistlative and social reform necessary, this crap will continue.

By running away from their country, they are exporting their problems to us. ANd they are creating a whole new set of issues by choosing to live a criminal life in the US. Not good for them in the long run, nor the families they bring with them, leave behind, or create here.

Mexico and Mexicans must fix Mexico. That is the only viable solution.

Viva Zapata!

I always get a kick out of people relating immigration to the state of our economy. Never-mind that maybe it is a little rougher for everyone in this country because of a trillion dollar debt our president has created, greedy CEO and the falling dollar. NO! It could not be any of our own fearless leaders sticking to other fellow Americans. It has to be that guy mowing my yard or working at the car wash. Definitely! Get real. This country was built by immigrants and can still remain a great and easy place to live if people would just get rid of the idiots in our government.
And as for the Doctor working on the dishes, I think you should take looooong look at what the HMOs are doing to that industry more than the immigrant worker.

Exactly when and where you see a doctor washing dishes in a restaurant? Someone paying all that money for an education they don't use? I think you are making things up to prove your point (unless that doctor was so incompetent that his license was suspended, then it is nobody's fault but his own!). Please be realistic.

But yes, I think they should go home and build up their own country. But what do you expect from a country whose president publishes a guide to cross the U.S-Mexican border illegally and successfully? And my answer is still a BIG YES! They need to go back and better their country. It is sad their leader isn't helping.

I realise that these people are trying to make a better life for themselves. But they are doing it at our expense.
Our manufacturing jobs are going to Mexico & China.
The Mexicans are coming here,Taking a big share of the work that still remains in the U.S.It don't add up for me why
our goverment is so lax on Illegal's
The only conclusion that comes to mind isGreed.
Wealthy corporations want to pay slave wages!
The excuse is I can't find Americans that will do this work.
Reality -Check They can't Find American people that will do it for Peanuts! Yes I think all Illegals should be deported.
And our borders Secured.

There are literally billions of people on this planet that have less opportunities than mexicans.
Not one true success story I have ever read or heard about started with the person saying that their first step in the right direction was to commit a crime. The whole philosophy of "I had to commit a crime to make my life better" is such non-sense.

The best way for Mexicans to build their country, is to come to America, work here for maybe 10 or 15 years, then go home with the money they've saved up and use their savings to help build Mexico. We're now in a global competitive market, where American-made products must compete with identical products made in China, India, Taiwan, and other countries with lower labor cost. Even American consumers prefer buying imported goods over domestic-made products. We need to lower our labor cost to compete effectively with foreign markets. The alternative to hiring illegal aliens, is to close the plant and relocate to Mexico; or subcontract the work to China.

First of all what is the name of this doctor? Can you cite your souse? I don't have a problem with Mexicans building the USA. Building is hard work. What doctors don't have many opportunities?

Yes they should. And if you take all the money granted to the illegal aliens by the process of fraud, I would be willing to give it to the Mexicans to make their government good.

They have to get it right soon. They cannot wait forever to do so either.

No they shouldn't !! We rely on them for labor in the low-skill jobs area. They're better workers than Americans. Since getting rid of Americans and replacing to an all-hispanic warehouse, we've boosted productivity 40% and cut payroll cost 15%. When we ask them to work overtime, they don't mind clocking out, then going back to work. Overtime is paid in cash, straight time only. Americans would never make such sacrifices to help a company's bottom line. And contrary to what you're told, hiring illegals is allowable by law. They need only to furnish fake social security card, a fake birth certificate, and a fake state ID or drivers license; which are all easily available in the black market.
