Someone sent it to me once, but I have since lost the website. I'm now using Word Pad which came with my computer, but I don't really care for it. It's tied in with Word 2007, and I don't like the way the documents look. At the end of January, the free trial verson of Word 2007 ends, and I'll have to pay for it if I want to keep it, but I really don't like it. Does anyone know about the free WP program?

The program I think you are talking about is called Open Office. You can find it at http://www.openoffice.org/

You could always try Open Office...it's a free office suite that's written to do many/most of the same functions that Microsoft Office does, and it's free.

Google documents also has a free online word processor.

You might try IBM Lotus Symphony - also free.

It is based on openoffice code but has a much nicer interface.
