I will assume you have PowerPoint 2003. Click on the File Menu. Select Package for CD. (Insert your CD you want burned). Click on OK and you should be done. There are a couple of options which may confuse you. Embed Fonts: iIf you are using specialty fonts (other than Tahoma, Arial, Times Roman, etc.) embed your fonts. Install Viewer: this viewer allows people who don't have PowerPoint to be able to view your presentation (I always do this anyway to avoid problems on another computer). It will automatically embed all of your sound files for you.

If you have an older version, it will still be under File but it will be called Pack N Go. The instructions are basically the same.

In PowerPoint 2007 you click on the logo and select Publish, then Copy to CD. Again the instructions are basically the same.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

You're not a dummy. It's not obvious what you need to do to make this work every time.

Fortunately, someone took the trouble to make a web page to explain it all. Click the source link below to learn how to fix this problem.

Typing Tornado is correct......you need to package the presentation if you are bringing it off of your computer or the embedded objects (music, movies, etc) will not be there.
