No there is nothing wrong with it. I am 41, and never had children. My girlfriend is the same way.

If you don't have children, you can keep your youth.

I love it when people ask us how many kids we have. I say none. I usually get told, "Wait until you get to be my age". I usually come back with, "I am old enough to be your father, you just can't tell because I have no children".

I also have lots of stamps in my passport.

Not at all. With todays cost of living, it seems only the college-educated (bachelors degree or higher) professions such as lawyers, engineers, computer programmers, etc... are the only professions that pay enough for someone to raise a family, and still live the American dream. As a woman, you also have to factor the divorce rate. Men are just not committing themselves to stay in a marriage long enough to at least wait till the kids leave for college, before filing for divorce. Then there's global warming, talk of the anti-christ who's living among us today, and will eventually bring about the 3rd World War, and population growth that may lead to food shortage if theres disruption in either the farms , poultry, cattle, etc... industries. I don't think its a good time to start a family now a days.

There is nothing wrong with no wanting to have children. Do not get caught up in the "it's what everyone else is doing" circus ride. I have children that I adore, but I realize that being a parent is a very hard job that is not suitable for everone. You have to be able to provide and care for someone else for most of your adult life. You will need to be there for them regardless of your own concerns. And you have to make sure to be diligent with their classwork and friendships. You want to teach and guide them in the right way. It's quite a challenge. But its something that must be done with grace.

I wouldn't say it is.
I don't want to have kids.
Most people think I'd want to since I have 3 brothers and sisters but because living with them is hectic, I grew up independently. I don't want to settle right away with a family when I'm older. I want to live my life first, do the things I've always wanted to do, and explore the world. After all that, and when I feel I've completed my dreams I'll settle down, and maybe have one kid. But that doesn't mean the party stops. If I end up having a kid one day, I'm still going to enjoy life.
So it's your life.
Your decisions.
If you know what you want for your life, go for it full on!
Hope it helps :)

NO!, you should enjoy your life and just being you. If at some point in the future you want a child then go for it. Do not let society or anyone guilt you into having a child you really don't want.

Enjoy you're life first. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to start a family.

No. Heck, no!

Parenting isn't for everyone. Sure, aybe you'll change your mind. But if you don't, you don't.

There's nothing that says you can't have an interesting, fulfilling life without bearing children.

Well, I'm not really thinking about having kids either. Maybe one kid (Preferably a daughter, easier to deal with than boys), but I don't see anything wrong with not wanting a kid.

No. There is nothing wrong with that. Just leave yourself open to changing your mind. I never wanted to have kids and then I changed my mind when I found someone I wanted to have them with!

Kids arent for everyone and you dont have to feel guilty or weird if you dont want them. .Enjoy your freedom!!
