not really. there are various programs out there to help pay for an education, but none of it will be completely free. TA only pays tuition, not books and lab fees. GI Bill only pays for a percentage of college expenses. Even STA-21 doesn't cover everything.

With the GI Bill $100 is taken out of your pay for the first 12 months in the military. Then after serving 2 years you can use it to go to college (as long as you don't get a dishonorable discharge then forget it - more information is given below). Tuition Assistance you can use as well while you are AD and this will cover the cost of attending the class, lab fees, computer classes, etc.. (not books) but it can be limited to 12 semester hours per year or a certain amount per year. It depends on the branch of service.
You can also gain college credits for classes that you have to take for the military as well.

If you qualify to get in such as passing a physical, passing the asvab test etc. then you can qualify to get the GiBill and tuition assitance.
You can go to www.goarmy.com to check out the education benefits.

The military has a GI bill which you pay 100 dollars a month for two years while in the service. Once you are finished paying for it then you can use it. There are also other programs offered, but there is always a catch. Nothing is free.

If you meet the requirements to be in the military, they can pay for your education. But if you join, only to get your school paid is a foolish plan.

Sure.... if you qualify and you are willing to give them 12 to 16 years. You will have to stay in for awhile after you graduate.

For every year of uni. you have to give so many years of service. Different in different countries. If you qulify means you have to pass physical and mental tests, as well as be able top pass basic training, and be sent to war if they chose to send you.
