I disagree with the first guy. I have a spray called Feliway. It works great and removes the odor for me and for the cats. Cats smell better than we do and usually I would wash what they peed on and it would smell better to me, but they would still smell it and pee again in the same space. I got this stuff and they have been happier and used their box. here is the site

I don't care what products people name...NOTHING gets the actual urine OUT of the carpet, so the smell remains. There are many things that will cover up the smell for a while, but nothing will work long term!! Only removing the carpet.

depends... there are cleaners at your local pet supply, BUT are you sure its urine, if your cat is a male and not fixed he probley sprayed which is 10x worst then urine and in that case pull up your carpet and find a dumpster. then fix your cat and if he still does it get rid of your kitty because it will never end.

I'd recommend using Piss-off, it works quite well. The hard part is finding where to spray it unless you get to it straight away.

im pretty sure there are many different substances you can use found at your local pet supply store. Explain to them exactly what you are looking for.
