Yes. When someone voices an insecurity, it is inherently a solicitation for advice. Most of the time, most men don't have the time, attention, or sensitivity to help you solve your problem of insecurity. Men believe that insecurities are things that ought to be squelched and resolved when the time comes. So, don't bother your man-friends with this stuff unless they offer their time, attention, and sensitivities.
