I don't pray, but here are my best wishes for you and your unit.
Are you really going to get back less than a year after leaving? Are some of the tours less than 12 months now?

It is always an honor to pray for our young men and women in the military.
Father, I lift up this young man and those in his unit. Father, You are a God who protects and delivers Your people. Thank You that You are protecting this man and his unit while they are in Iraq. Father, it says in Your Word that no weapon formed against us will prevail. We thank You that You are keeping these precious souls safe and the weapons of the enemy will not prevail against this man and his unit in Iraq. We thank You for sending them the Holy Spirit to comfort them and to make them know that no matter where they are, You are with them. Father, we ask that You keep them free from harm and bring them home safely. We ask that the time there will not seem long and that they return to their families quickly. Father, thank You for these precious souls, and thank You for guiding them and directing their footsteps. Father bless them and bless their families! In Jesus' name....amen!
God bless you and your unit! I am here if you need prayer anytime! They are sending my beloved nephew back to Iraq and I know the great sacrifice that you and those in your unit, and their families are making! You and your unit will continue to be in my prayers!

My brother is on his second tour in Iraq as well. He has 14 months left. I will absolutely pray for you as well as all of the other soldiers at war.

Not into prayer. However, I hereby express my sincere gratitude for you and your family's sacrifice in this horrible situation. I hope you and your entire troop returns very soon (way before next Christmas) completely unharmed both physically and psychologically. You have real guts and courage to make that decision!

I'm probably gonna be taking some of the weight of the matter off your shoulders mate.
But sure, i'll pray for your unit anyway (can u post the name of it so i have something to focus on?)
edit; :) i see from your profile you're american, so i guess we'll be serving in different countries (my bet is on afganistan for me)

I pray the Lord guide your every step. To bring comforting verses to mind & direction for the moment. I pray for special protection over all of you that you will have wisdom to see the enemy crouching behind the corner. That you know who the enemy is & who the civilians are. That you are given a special gift of discernment. To learn to follow after the direction of the Spirit & not react according to your flesh. That you know who your are in Christ & if you live you live as unto the Lord & if you die, you die in the Lord.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart & lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge the Lord in all of your ways & He will make your path straight. (A Song that came to mind.)

IRAQ is coming to a close. a victory.
yet don't get careless.
your inner man, is the REAL YOU.
spend time with the Creator thorugh JESUS I hope youhave him..YET..I had GOD before JESUS,..JESUS is an easier path to GOD. anyway, WISDOM, GOD made MAN like himself..another speaking SPIRIT.
read proverb, one chapter a day. the spirit of WISDOM/LIFE/POWER/TRUTH..ect..will GUIDE YOU..and YOU pray for each member of your unit, WISDOM..sensitivity to the INNER MAN..the GUT MAN. WORDS create or destroy, words BLESS or bind or curse.
IN SHORT..create your VICTORY for your UNIT..that dumb enemies make it EASY for you to destroy or capture them..pray/prophesize whatever GOOD for USA and your unit..start small..something simple of THEM making mistakes...lots of them..and ou just foloow the trail or be right place at right time..on and on..be creative but be CAUTION with WORDS..it's a double edge back to us too.
FEAR is the oppositie of "IN GOD I TRUST"
greeT GOD in the morning and through out the day and night..honor HIM..HE'll honor you..before OTHERS.is possible.
VICTORY IS YOURS, be patience, be consistant, be positive and be caution.
a viper is still a viper..sneaky.
and logically..trust no arab young or woman or old.
Ps 91 is a powerful SPIRITUAL SHIELD
learn it..mediate on it..MEMORIZE IT..and share it..with your unit and others. when 2 or 3 gather.THE POWER OF GOD.CHRIST..is with you.
we the people..shall see all of you before NEXT Christmas in a VICTORY PARADE! lol! i believe before next president is elected..or before bush leaves office..you are doing a good work for the sake of USA future, don't listen to lies..killers of such...will do what they do..senselessly...so killing them over there, is wiser than here..period.
when war is over..mexico border need you guys. so pass the word so BIG boss generals..ect..plan to keep you guy on payroll and here at home..vs letting you all go..after the war which is not smart.
do we have enough jobs opening? milatry is good income..climb up the rank..to whatever please or fit you.
