Would you also force her to loose weight if she gained it? The Tattoo is already there, I would not make an issue of it unless it's really 'bad' (like her old boyfriends name!)
It seems to me you must be very forceful about your dislike since she hid it from you for a year...it would show her how much you care if you tell her you still don't like them, but you understand she did it previously and you're not going to fuss about it now.
Good Luck

Um, excuse me, but what right do you think you have to "force" your girlfriend to do anything? Using a word like "force" when talking about a relationship is sooo not a good sign. It's her life and HER body. She can do whatever the hell she wants with it. It's just a tattoo. And like I said, it's her choice. If you're letting a silly thing like this get in the way of your relationship, then you must not care about her that much.

I also don't like tattoos but I don't think you should force her to remove her tattoos, you should love her and and her tattoos. Next time look for a woman that doesn't have any.

Its not ok to force her to do anything. You are her boyfriend not her slaveowner. She is an independent thinking person with likes and dislikes of her own. How would you like it if she insisted you shave all your hair off or wore a dress to school? Would you like the idea that she gets to control what you do? You love someone for who they are not someone you want them to be. If you dont like things about her then break up, move on and find a girl who fits your world. A controlling man ends up with women who have no brain of their own. Is that what you really want?

Would you change something for her?
Unless it has the name of an ex-boyfriend on it, I think the biggest problem is your non-acceptance. You could ask her, perhaps you could offer to pay for the laser treatment. But ultimately, she got the tattoo of her own free will, so it is her decision.
Your choice is whether to live with it or not.

No...you have no right to "force" her to do anything. It's HER body to do with as she pleases. Get over it or move on. You should love the girl for her heart and personality

If you hate tattoos, don't get one. It's not appropriate of you to try to "force" any other adult to do anything they don't want to do. If this was your minor child, you'd be within your rights...otherwise accept it or move on and realize you aren't really all that into your girlfriend or who she is inside would be WAY more important than any external decoration.

"Force her"??? I don't think so.
If you had one she hated, what would you do if she tried to "force you" to have it removed?? Just because you hate them doesn't mean a thing. It's your personal choice not to have one, but you can't make choices like that for her.
Keep it up, and you'll be referring to her as your ex-girlfriend.
