Can I use my playstation 2 games in the new playstation 3?

you cannot on 40 gig PS3s
and with the others you can play about 95% of all PS2 game
but they add games each time they update the PS3 so pretty soon all games will work

60 GB most game compatability.
80 GB lesser games than the 60 GB.
40 GB, no compatibility.
20 GB, no comatibility.

just to clarify.... the 20 gig is fully compatible. just like the 60.

yes you can but not on the 40gb
