is that in the Bible? did I not just imagine it?

I read the NIV bible, is that same verse included in the KJV that Bible-fundamentalists are famously using?

if it is, then why do these Bible-fundamentalists claim they know who's going to hell and who's going to heaven? aren't all people sinners according to them? why are they the first to throw a stone at people who don't belong in their group?

Answers like Prismcat38's and Biblepreacher2's nail it right on the head for you. There are some people who think it's their right as Christians to throw stones whenever they please at whoever *they* judge to be unworthy of God's grace. When reminded that Christ specifically told us not to judge others and not to "throw stones," they piously claim that these verses in Scripture were meant for a specific situation or applied only in a certain set of circumstances and are therefore not universally applicable. Neatly gets them off the hook, doesn't it?

In my opinion, they can't have it both ways. If the verses they want to use to condemn others and consign them to Hell are universally applicable, then so are the verses which specifically tell us not to judge the lives and conduct of others. As Christians, we are meant to love one another and leave the judgments up to God.

When Jesus said let him that is without sin among you throw the first stone was simple. Jesus never died on the cross yet to forgive sins. While Jesus was alive and breathing he was establishing the new covenant. The law of Moses was still around at the time before the Crucifixion. The people that where judging the adulterous lady where sinners. Just like the people who judged Bill Clinton or George Bush sinners. Jesus told that lady to do one thing and she never did it again and this is before the cross which was go and sin no more. And we don't read in the bible that she went back to her sin.

Christians today love their sin and claim they can't stop sinning. What did Jesus died for then? To make a new people called Christian sinners? My bible says in 1st john 2:8 "He that commith sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning: for this purpose was the Son of God manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil." Galatians 2:17"But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves are also found to be sinners; is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid?" Does Jesus lead you to do the devils word sin? God forbid. 1st John 3:6 "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not; whosoever sinneth hath not seen him neither hath known him." No sinner can know Jesus unless they repent and convert to the bible.

Yeah, that verse is in the Bible. The religious leaders bring a women who had committed adultry to Jesus and ask him what should be done with her. They remind him that Moses said they should stone her to death. After thinking about it for a few minutes Jesus says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" Since nobody is without sin, nobody was fit to judge the woman and everybody left until it was just her and Jesus standing there. Jesus then forgives her and tells her to go and sin no more. This is consistent with Jesus' teaching of "Judge not lest ye be judged". For with the same measure you use when judging others, God will use that measure to judge you. Many people profess to be Christians, but ignore the teachings of Jesus. They adhere to Christian theology, but not to Christian philosophy. Jesus most likely would not have approved of capital punishment in modern times.

Everything in nature has a purpose... the bible is an example or karma... when people read it and find truth or examples like you just did.. is is meant as an omen.. who are the liar? Everyone who says the bible is the word of god and that they promoted it as understanding the whole of it... you will find hypocracy... wich is the omen... religion is not good for the earth... always deceptive... always limited and that no one knows the truth.... the actions of the religions themselves also shows how hard they fight to keep humanity ignorant of truth.... religions are a form of slavery and all one has to do to free themselves is to not participate in them...

John 8
1Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

Anyone who says "You're going to hell" is going to hell for not trying to save that person from going to hell. At least they'll have company!

Please, pretty please, put your verse in context. This is a specific verse, to a specific group of people, concerning a specific event.
People like you usually take verses like this out of context to try to get it to say what you want it to say. This verse is about forgiveness and grace and mercy in the face of accusation and murderous intent. It has nothing to do with any argument between believers and un-believers.

Joh 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman taken in adultery. And standing her in the midst, they said to Him, Teacher, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such should be stoned. You, then, what do you say? They said this, tempting Him so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger, not appearing to hear. But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her. And again bending down, He wrote on the ground. And hearing, and being convicted by conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, until the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. And bending back up, and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, Woman, where are the ones who accused you? Did not one give judgment against you? And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I give judgment. Go, and sin no more. Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
