I want to go hunting for these:

But I never see them running around where I live. Do you know where is the best place to hunt these things? They are so chewy and delicious - I love to have them with breakfast.

Isle 3. Be advised however, you're not going to bag one with lead. Like vampires, you need silver to bring them home. I suppose you could use nickel as well, but that will take several 'rounds'. In theory, you can also use paper, though I hear that is going out of vouge and being replaced by plastic.

Check with your grocer to see when the season is. It may well be anytime, however, perhaps some of them can only be found in season?

Good luck bagging one! (paper or plastic?)

They are an endangered species and thereby protected all over the World, however they are allowed to hunt you, so you may come in contact with them, but do not in anyway harm them.* These animals are very friendly and affectionate, and mean you no harm whatsoever.*

They "Hang Out" in groups of 8 at a time, and have a preference for dark, cardboard tubes to hide in......Excellent when baked at 350 degree's for about 12-18 minutes.....Some species are "iced" others are just plain nuts......

They tend to spend most of their time in protected areas where shooting isn't allowed. If you do catch one in the open, though, be careful: when shot, they'll often exhibit the phenomenon of a secondary explosion, which can be unnerving to the unwary.
