Hi the PS3 Silver is out March 2008, the console will only be available in 20gb. The PS4 Release date is December 2008 but shhhh this is top secret info..... i found out from a mate of mine who lives and works with the head quarters.

Nice rumor there is no ps4 coming out in 2008. Sony Corporate themselves last week said that development on a new system wouldn't even start until 2011 which means there won't be a new system until 2014. When they were discussing the release of the new ps2 and ps3 exclusives. Interesting about your friend are you sure he even has a job at all cause he is definately not in the know.
Supposedly the 360 is gettting a make over which is rumored to have hddvd game disc capacity and hd entertainment center media options , because game producers are getting ticked at limited space for games on 360 8gig dvds. and microsoft is loosing a huge share of desktop and laptop sales to apple because of Vista and Apple is coming out with a hd computer entertainment center for the tv. Sony already has one it's called the ps3.
Ubisoft is even creating exclusives for ps3 (haze ) because of the better specs and larger blueray 50 gig disc capacity.

There is not going to be a PS4 in 2008. The PS3 just came out a little over a year ago. I agree with R"n"D. I don't expect another Sony console in at least 5-6 years from now.

Oh, there will be a new Playstation in December 2008, but its going to be a PS3 lite, A smaller version of the PS3.
