Christianity.
If you look at most of the religiously divided battles around the world, they are usually one type of Muslim killing another type of Muslim, Christians and Muslims killing each other, or one type of Christian killing another type of Christian. There is also Buddhist oppression in the East, the Jews in Israel killing Muslims, Muslims oppressing Bahais, and so on. However, it mainly seems to be Christians and Muslims. There have been Hindu and Muslim scuffles, too.

The problem with the world religions are that they put more emphasis on doctrine and tradition than they do relationship. If we are in a firm spiritual relationship with God and we are living according to His Word, we don't have problems with world religion, because we are not a part of it. We are God's children and have no problem coexisting with anyone. We do have a duty to share what God has to offer with the world. In so doing, sometimes people go ballistic on us...many of our ranks have died for the love of Jesus and the desire to share the gift of eternal life with others. With our message being love and peace, how can anyone think that a true Christian (that is a follower of Christ) can be remotely associated with the prejudice and anger generated out of the Islamic Nation?

You know I don't have a problem living among st other religions. But alot of them have a problem with me and that makes me have a problem with them. Its a two way street.
And in most Muslim countries do you realize Christians and Jews sometimes get more rights then Muslims do. I lived in Egypt and I saw a Christan women and wanted to ask her some questions and my husband wouldn't let me because if I offended her and she went to the police I could get in alot of trouble. Christan's get all holidays off, but Muslims only get country and Muslim holidays off.
I seen many Churches in Egypt, some pretty big ones to. Christians and Jews had business and worked along side Muslims in peace. HMMMM why can't we in America live in peace like that, I mean this is supposed to be the most freest country right.

Different sects of Islam just as Christianity make it difficult for the world to capture and wantonly love the serious deficits that are within the various degrees of any religious idealogy.

Christianity has more trouble coexisting with other religions. Muslims seem to keep to themselves. Christians tell you that you have the wrong religion, and try to convert you.

Islam is uniquely intolerant of other religions and uniquely troublesome to others.
1) Islam mixes religion and secular power to a degree not seen in other religions. Christianity cites "rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is His" but Islam believes that the representatives of Allah should govern all and that secular power should be regulated by the seventh century book of the Koran and Shar'ia law.
2) Islam wants the whole world to be governed by Shar'ia under a universal Caliphate and believes this is part of the mission of every Muslim.
3) Islam believes that any land EVER held by Muslims, however briefly, is Muslim land and must be liberated and restored to the rule of Shar'ia ( Spain, watch out! ).
4) Islam believes in forcible conversion and punishes apostasy with death. It is trivial to convert to and impossible to leave. For Christianity, converting the heathen is a good deed, not an obligation, and presumably done for the benefit of the convert ( to save their soul ). Judaism, indeed, does not pro-actively seek to proselytize or convert anyone..All Muslim deeds are done for the benefit of the Muslim in the afterlife.
5) While some religions, e.g. Christianity, hold out the selfish goal of saving your own soul to constrain you to moral behavior, Islam holds out the selfish goal of happiness in Paradise to constrain the Muslim to immoral behavior in this world ( that is, if you consider suicide killing, honor killing, subjugation of women, revenge rape, genocide -- as in Darfur -- as "immoral" behavior.

All religions have trouble co-existing with other religions.
Look at you, if you're a christian, here you are complaining about Islam. Hardly makes you the paragon of tolerance, does it?
