because it kills a god thats a joke there christian god has destroyed thor odin atheana zues you name a god the christians have turned these true gods to myths when there god is a myth as well

maybe it causes them to question their faith and they don't like that unnerving feeling they get when they subconsciously realise a flaw in their believe system...
