I use it when my lips are beginning to get chapped. It works for me.

The particles in Vaseline are too big to be absorbed by skin. You are better off trying something made specifically for lips, I use Blistex's medicated lip treatment and its so amazing! When I wake up in the morning my lips are so soft and puffier too!
By the way, vaseline is a petroelum product... petroelum comes from the same stuff as the gasoline you use in your car... think petro gas. Its also found in baby oil which we slather all over our babies... and we wonder why cancer rates are going up...

yah, but chap stick works pretty much the same, and is much more portable, and has a variety or flavours

it's great after u brush ur lips with ur toothbrush at nite!
btw: i have to disagree w/snowflake becuz petroleum is also found in lip balms! if it's found in lip balms it has to be safe and good for ur lips! rite?
