i have the same problem at work..she screams at everyone, not just me though. i am looking for a new job, because just like you i cant go to no one to complain either. at this point though, i dont give a rats butt, so if she comes screaming i had my mind mad up that i am going to walk right out that front door because nothing is worth the stress and hassel, and i dont know about you i dont tolerate anyone screaming at me in my personal life so i dont know why i should tolerate her screaming at me simply because she issues my checks, funk that man, it is not worth it anymore. i would suggest that you start looking another job and see if you can stick it out until you get this new job, but if it is causing you to stress out emotionally just leave your job tell her she is too much to handle during your exit interview. good luuck

Even if you go to an attorney, he will probably say "quit". And, I hate to say, but that is likely all you can do. You "might" have a case of "abuse", but it is not likely. It is illegal to tape record somebody without their consent also.

I don't tolerate anyone screaming at me at my job. I have no problem screaming back.

Talk to them and let them know that you will not tolerate it and if it continues you will go above them!
