It's the latest gossip that me and this guy are a potential couple. Supposedly he's scared to ask me out. He's outgoing and confident and really hot so I don't see why he's scared. What can I do to make him less afraid to ask me out?

Talk about how much you really want a relationship and how ready you are, but talk generally, not specifically. Then maybe he can get the hint..

make sure you find out who it was who started the rumor + where they got it from. Has he had a g/f in past ? Did he seem shy around her or other girls ? If not it could be that someone is playing a mean joke. Could even be his own friends made a bet. You are already showing unbelief. Not that he wouldn't find you attractive, BUT you're thinking why would he be afraid ? If he's interested take it slow + let him come.

This can be a hard question to answer because everyone is different, but if you really like him too there are somethings that you can do. Find things that he can help you with or things that allow you to spend time together.

The most important thing is to not rush him. Good things never come out of rushing people into a relationship.

Drop him OBVIOUS hints you like him too! Then he'll be able to build up the confidence to ask you out, part of him probably still doubts you don't like him the same way. If you like him back, let him know... you dont have to directly tell him. Drop hints like, hug him hello when you sit him, look him in the eye and smile, hold hands with him, hook onto his arm, etc. IT WORKS!!

You can't believe all the gossip you hear. It could be that he isn't interested, or if he may not know that you are. There is no explaining or understanding what is in someone else's mind. Try being friendly and see what happens.

Ask him out. Just get with him when no one else is around and just be like.."Hey was wondering if you'd like to go to a movie with me some time?" and just go from there. That might break the ice. Guys love it when girls take initiatives.

DO NOT ask him out. That just makes you look easy and desperate. Guys do not like easy girls. Innocent flirting is fine. Why not just hang out with him or talk with him to get him to loosen up and become more comfortable around you?

Two options:

1) TAke the first step and ask him out yourself

2) Make yourself more approachable so that he knows you like him and that he won't get rejected if he asks. :)

We are in the millennium ages now. Ask if he wants to grab something to eat. Break the ice for him!

Take it as a compliment and ask him out. I think you would really make his day.
