No, because in worst case scenarios you will have an anxiety attack. And nobody has ever died of an anxiety attack. But anxiety can really affect your life, so in your case I would be careful and try not to think about things so much. It just stresses you so much more unnecessarily.
Don't worry much about it and just start thinking positive.

Directly, no. But if high anxiety gives you high blood pressure (which is easily measurable), then the hypertension could. Also, people tend to get very anxious when having an asthma attack, and this worsens the asthma attack. If you have an underlying heart condition like A-fib or V-fib (this means that one chamber of the heart beats out of synch with the others - could be harmless, could be deadly), panic attacks might set it off.
The key is learning how to control anxiety. Medications will help, eventually, once the right medication is found, which is not easy for teens, as their livers and brains aren't mature yet. It is also extremely useful to address the anxiety in an indirect manner, such as through yoga. The breathing exercises of yoga can produce great peace of mind. An alternate strategy is to take up a martial art. This gives one great confidence.

Cymbalta is an SSRI. It takes a few weeks to really have an effect, so if you have just started, be patient.
There can be side effects, so be aware. Also, do not take any other drugs without docs approval.
Anxiety always has a cause, so you may be living in a stressful home environment or there is some other factor that needs a change.
Take up yoga or physical exercise of some sort to reduce stress as well if you can. good luck.

No-one ever directly dies from anxiety. Please do not have anxiety about having anxiety medicine. That is the way to make yourself worse. Inform your psychiatrist of this worry at the earliest opportunity.
Tell your psychiatrist if they can help you incorporate a non medical treatment into your current schedule. Things like yoga or Tai Chi may help. It is not good to stay on these medicines for longer than necessary but you should not stop taking your medicine until the psychiatrist says it's ok.

You can't die from anxiety, even though panic attacks and anxiety are miserable. If the Cymbalta isn't working, tell your doctor it's not so he or she can have you try something else. Keep going until you find something that works. There is something out there for you.

No you wont die from a panic attack.
I'm a student nurse and have them!! Just let yourself get as anxous as possible. Give yourself "anxiety time" to get as hysterical as you can and then I promise you it will recede. Worry about anything for thirty mins, everything you can think of. Cry, be afraid, do everything and then after you will be chilled about it all, knowing that's the worst it can possibly be.
Plus, it will show you you cannot die.
It sounds mad, but I have read numerous self help books that advocate this.

Negative feelings and anxiety can lead to many body ailments. This is not a funny matter for you. Anxiety is a horrible thing.
Have you ever tried meditating or praying? It's a practiced and hard regimen, but you can get used to it.

When you feel the sensations of a panic attack building do the following.
Tell the panic that it has 20 seconds to initiate the full panic attack. 20 seconds and no more. After the 20 seconds are complete it must stop making empty threats.
You are allowing 20 seconds for it to fully manifest but not a second more.
Whatever the bodily sensation is that you fear, it must happen within that 20 second time frame.
-If you heart is going to explode then it has 20 seconds to do so.
-If you are going to lose control, then your mind has 20 seconds to do so.
-If you are going to faint – 20 seconds! But absolutely no more time than that.
You get the picture.
By setting a specific time frame you establish boundaries of control. You turn it into a game where you call fear’s bluff. If it were a poker game, you are asking anxiety to show its hand.
This works because it establishes a sense of control within your mind and body.

You can't die from a panic attack, if that's what you're thinking. You might feel like you're going to die, but that's not really the case.
However, in the long run, being stressed out all the time isn't great for your health and could eventually lead to problems that shorten your life. (eg. Stress is well known to weaken the immune system.)
