That it is ridiculous. People are spending way too much time trying not to hurt anyone's feelings therefore creating a whole new nation of people with thin skins. It is childish.

I agree that much of this correctness is Bu.. Sh.. We have taken this WAY TOO FAR!!!!!!!! Incorrect for Santa to say "ho ho ho"? BS. Lets look at the fact that Santa is a fantasy which mainly serves corporate America. MORE BS. You know what, if you are black, brown, white or yellow, who REALLY cares.? What binds us is our humanity and I for one am soooo sick and tired of the focus placed on what makes us different. Finally, I agree that politics, in general, represents the interests of the few at the expense of the many. We, the many, are asked to be politically correct because those in politics are unable to be honest. more BS

Leave it to a wop to ask this...
irony!
It depends. It is more accurate to describe someone as Asian than Oriental if they are from China--the Orient actually means more Middle Eastern.
If it is not saying "ho ho ho," who would be offended if she were not a ho?
On the other hand, lots of things get called politcally correct when they're not. A football coach said he knew it wasn't PC, but that his team got their asses kicked. That term has nothing to do with PC.

I think it depends on how it is used. For example you can say I'm African American without mentioning I'm a third Carribean or part French. It can be taken too far. I think as long as courtesy is used and it is not taken too far I don't really have a problem with it.

To a certain extent, yes, but it goes to ridiculous lengths

Santas in Sydney Australia cannot say "ho ho ho" for it may offend women.

they are told to say "Ha ha ha", which i find insulting, as it demeans when i ask for a gift. "You want a Nintendo Wii? HA ha ha!"
