bad idea. if it doesn't work out, you're still stuck lookin at them at work unless u quit or they quit.

It is a really difficult dicision to make. There are a lot of possible pitfalls dating someone from where you work .. if things were to go badly .. it can be very awkward. I would try to get to know the person as best I could while a work with them .. Have a coffee break with them .. Lunch with them as much as possible. Have a really good handle on things before you ask them out . Good Luck ! :)

My mom did. They broke up 20 times. ON the 20'th time she quit her job b/c she was sick of seeing him... it depends on the people b/c the guy she dated was an ***.

it's very difficult because if you two get in an argument, it gets awkward during work- unless you two work in completely different departments. It also depends on your maturity level.
