Where did you guys store your gifts as they arrived to you? Did you get them delivered to your parent's house, or did you both already own an apartment or house together?
If you were finding a place while you were planning the wedding, did the gifts stay with a friend during your honeymoon or did friends and family help deliver the gifts to your new home while you guys were enjoying your honeymoon?

I'm answering for my son and daughter in law. Their gifts were sent to my house because our porch protected them from the possiblity of rain (which is frequent here). Eventually the gifts were stored at both sets of parents houses. While they were on their honeymoon, we all delivered the gifts to their new home so they could have them when they got back.

They were delivered to my parents' house and stored in the garage. Our first apartment was small, so some of those gifts were in the garage about a year.... and my dad was not happy about that!

we had our own place but everything got sent to my folk's house. i was too much of a flake to take care of it.
