You should be consuming 1200-1500 calories a day to maintain a healthy weight. I hardly call 1400 calories a splurge. Heck, when I was in the military and was slightly overweight by 10 lbs, they put me on a 1200 calorie a day diet to lose the extra weight. You may be slightly underweight and should not do anything to lose any more weight. If you want to maintain your current weight, eat lean meats, vegetables, and yes, good carbohydates. Also, moderate (not vigorous) exercise like walking, bike riding, or swimming would be good for you. Stop obsessing over your weight and what you look like. It's not healthy. If you really want a professional opinion, go to the doctors and get a overall exam to determine if you're healthy.

I think you might be too thin....definitely not fat! I believe females should take in at least 1200 calories a day. (maybe check a website to make sure) Anyway, the normal calorie intake is like 2000 calories a day. ( You see this on the back of nutrtion labels). It depends on your body's metabolism as well. It's okay to go crazy with food for a day, just don't make it a habit and be sure to work it off. I don't think it would hurt you at all if you gained some weight.

Stop! and listen to yourself. And then read: I computed your BMI (body mass index), a quite good method to see if you are underweight/normal/overweight/obese - used by the World Health Organization and you are 19.4 - which means a normal body mass. It is computed using your heit 5.7 and weight 124. It's normal. But, is that all important? Or is your HEALTH more important than that. One can have a normal weight, but an unhealthy body. Think about that. It's not all about the calories you eat, but also about the calories you burn, and what do you do to burn them. You can burn 2000 callories by worring all day about your weight, or by making exercises. Try to relax and think about this. And now, read your question once more. Try to read it as a stranger would. Can you sense the high anxiety you live? That's what is not normal, not your weight. Try to talk with someone about this. Try to discuss it with a psychologist, not with a close-friend. You need an impartial judge to help you. You shouldn't worry so much. Those christmas cookies have nothing to do with all of this, is all about accepting yourself. I hope it answered to something. Make peace with yourself.

Well you're pretty tall and you aren't that heavy so you're probably good the way you are.
I mean, i don't know what you look like, but you're in the 'below average' weight range. that's okay though, it's not like you're gonna die.
I'm 5'2 and i weigh 104 ibs and i'm a little below average too but.. i'm not dead yet so wutever. lolz jk
if you seriously want to loose weight then try excersizing.
i actually NEVER count my calories or watch what i eat, because i excersise all the time.
:))))
But i think those extra calories will do you some good.
You sound just fine.

No that is way too skinny for your height: You need to be at least 135 to 140 for your height. That is the bare minimum. Actually it should be closer to 140 to 150 for your height.
If you worried you need concentrate on building muscle mass instead of trying starve yourself. By adding lifting weights to your exercise reutine.
Not heavy weights just enogh to feel it good and be able to do a lot of rep's to give you good proportion and a well defined well proportioned body.

You are too skinny. EAT. Once you reach a healthy weight, eat whenever you are hungry. Eat salads, fish, and lean meat. When you are physically hungry, the feeling is your body trying to tell you to eat. DO NOT eat for emotional reasons.

i personally think your weight is fine where it is at.
and 500-600 calories a day is not a whole lot. it could be dangerous if it drops any lower.
