I think that Ole Mathis Eira's talk about his experiences with global warming in the Arctic gives very good information about the effects of global warming.
Mr. Eira is 50 years old. He is a Sami reindeer herder who lives above the Arctic Circle. The Sami people are indigenous to the Arctic and they have lived off the land there for millennia.

Read "The Big Thaw" in the June, 2007 issue of National Geographic magazine. If you don't have the attention span to read the entire article, at least read the first few paragraphs on Page 61. -RKO- 12/09/07
