I recently switched my connection to wireless and it is a lot slower for some reason. I would definitely stick to a wired connection.

It makes sense that wired is better because there is no interference, and no way of loosing a signal, but I heard that wireless is actually faster, its just less secure. I heard it on here, and I don't know if its true or not, but even if it is, its better to go with wired, that way if your playing a game or something you wont lose your signal. I use wireless and its a bit of a pain, but thats cuz my router is like 40ft away, behind 2 walls.

wired connections will always be slightly faster, even by an unrecognizable amount than wireless connections. That goes for everything, not just PS3

Depends if your router is close to the ps3.
Depends on the wireless your using, is it fast or slow?

Wired is better, because..
When you plug it in your ps3, it just sends the signal straightly to that.
Wireless, can be a bit slower..
Because, wireless spreads everywhere until if finds the connection.
Get it? >_>
