I prefer the tomboys, they can be a lady when necessary but all ladies cannot be tomboys when necessary.

The reality is some girls need makeup and some girls are so beautiful they don't need a thing.
From reading the answers it looks like guys want a girl that can look pretty but still get out and about with them. Get a little dirty and not fuse about it.

It is different for each individual. Some people look better with make-up some people have a "natural" look that works well without make up. It is different for every person and what they are attracted to. Often a person's true beauty will show though without make up. Some women need make up to bring out their beauty. There's nothing wrong or right either way...not only is it different for each woman, it is different for each woman's admirer. Some men hate the way a woman looks without make up and some men pride themselves on enjoying a more natural look. If you want my opinion (I am a man), I would have to say it depends on the woman on whether or not make up matters.

I prefer a girl who looks beautiful without make-up rather than one who needs make-up to get there. But a girl with natural beauty who ALSO wheres make-up is just fine.
I definitely prefer girly-girls to tomboys.

Tomboys are cooler, though I like both. Too much makeup is bad, but it can help at times.

I prefer women wearing little or no make up...their skin will remain healthier far longer without it. As for a preferrence between so-called "girlie girls" or tomboys, they each have their charms and I have on occasion found both types attractive.

First of all if a guy really likes his lady make up is not important, we are not all walking down the red carpet. I happen to like a light make up not to much. And a equal balance between tom boy and girly is awesome.
