Hi everyone,

My morning's kick off at 5am, and I leave for work around 6:30am, getting to the office around 7:45, then work at 8 right through till around 6pm. With that 1 and a half hours I have before leaving for work, I want to feel satisfied and have a genereous amount of energy to burn during work (I drive everywhere in the city, and many business areas within at least 20KM from my office, and walk from business to business, etc). So yeah lots of walking involved, and I need to stay alert whilst driving.

Anyone know what would be an APPROPRIATE, and of course HEALTHY breakfast and drink? I'm not really a coffee person, as I am prone to eczema. Any help would be great!

Four egg whites, scrambled.....a cup of oatmeal, 2 cups of green tea, cup of OJ or grape juice, cup of fat free cottage cheese with a cup of sliced peaches. It sounds like a lot but it can be fixed very quickly. you could even add two slices of whole wheat toast...with butter. You have a little bulk, lots of protein, natural sugar, the tea has no caffeine in it and is loaded with antioxidants. It's filling but light , energy packed , but will only last about three hours. With your schedule you'll need another fat free meal around noon.
Can you slow down any????

I used to make a breakfast casserole, cut it into squares and freeze it. Then for breakfast just microwave it for a few minutes. This basically had a package of frozen hash brown potato, a package of sausage (fried), salt & pepper and an egg milk mix poured over it with cheese on the top and baked for about 45 minutes to an hour at 300 to 325 degrees. If you don't like coffee and want something hot try tea. If that doesn't work try some juice. Keep trying until you find something. Breakfast is an important meal and the right one for you will help you not wilt before lunch.

Try making a few breakfast wraps on your days off. Just scramble up some eggs, add onion, peppers etc. to tatse, add cheese and meat to taste, and roll into a wrap like a burrito. Freeze. The night before dig one out to thaw, microwave for a minute the next morning to warm it up and melt the cheese, and volia! Breakfast on the go! You can do this fresh by microwaving the eggs (whip them with a fork first) for a minute, stir and microwave another minute.
The best things to take with you for energy is Oatmeal to Go bars, they are like large granola bars, and you can tuck them into your purse or breifcase!
