i was told that "you had fun" is Te divertiste. then would i had fun be "Yo divertidé" or "yo tuve divertido"? ahhh! so confused!

(Yo) Me divertí.
(Tu) Te divertiste
(El / Ella) Se divirtió.
(Nosotros) Nos divertimos.
Ustedes se divirtieron.
Ellos se divirtieron.
Do you also need the Future Tense?

Just a note
You can say DIVERTIDO/A but it's an adjective. It means amused or amusing.
Example:
Mi clase fue divertida. My class was amusing.
Yo estaba divertida en el circo. I was amused at the circus.

You don't. You would respond with jejeje which is equivalent to lol in Spanish. Lol is an English slang term therefore it does not exist.

In addition to the other people's answer, which are correct, you can also say "yo pasé el tiempo bien" which literally means "I passed the time well" but it just pretty much translates out to "I had a good time"

It depends on the context of the conversation:
- If you are asking Did you have fun? then it is: "Te divertiste?".
- Would I have fun? is: "Me divertire?".

'Divertirse is reflexive, so a more correct translation to english would be 'to enjoy oneself'
'I enjoyed myself' = 'Yo me divertí'; myself = me
