My boyfriend of 10 months told me on Tuesday that he didn't want to see me anymore. He's already got a new girlfriend and she's someone I've never liked. How do I get over him?

It takes time.
Try to keep busy, but when you're sad about it, let yourself be sad.
Talk to those close to you.
If they're smart, they'll listen to you and sympathize, and then distract you.
There's no Insti-Happy pill for this. You'll just have to go through it until you get to the other side.
You might try dwelling on whatever things about him you didn't like at the time.
He got a new girlfriend before breaking up with you, for instance. That's not the kind of man you'd want to hook up with.
