Or something that is sweet, buttery, and easy to make... I am making gift baskets and want a spread that will go well with pumpkin bread and other breads... Any help? Thank you

Cinnamon Butter

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 ounces granulated sugar
2 ounces brown sugar
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Mix and beat all ingredients listed, together, until smooth.
Cover and refrigerate over night.


Honey Cinnamon Butter

1 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
Serve with muffins, toast, bagels, french toast or pancakes.
Refrigerate any leftovers.


Cinnamon Orange Butter Search Related Coupons

1/2 c butter, at room temperature
1 ea orange peel, grated
2 tb orange juice concentrate
2 tb brown sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
Directions:
Cream together all ingredients.



APRICOT-CINNAMON BUTTER

1/2 cup Butter, softened
3 tablespoons apricot preserves
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in small mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until smooth (1 to 2 minutes). Serve at room temperature.


Hazelnut Butter Recipe

Ingredients:
8 ounces Butter; divided
1/4 cup Hazelnuts, dry-roasted; skin
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 Lemon; zested
2 teaspoons Fresh tarragon; chopped
Salt and pepper; to taste
Directions:
Combine ingredients and blend until smooth. Roll into cylinder and chill.

You can usually only subsititute oil for butter in cases where the recipe calls for melted butter. Even so, however, I find from experience that using oil instead leaves a flatter baked product with a slight taste difference. Especially if the recipe asks for a high quanitity, the taste of olive oil is different than the taste of butter and will be noticeable in the end product.

By the way, at the supermarket you can buy Brandy sauce in small jars (white and very sweet). I buy it to spread on plum pudding.
