It has nothing to do with wanting to settle down. Men are programmed to notice attractive and interesting women.

Guys are guys, they will check out anything that breaths and has breast. Looking isn't a problem it just proves they are human. Men have raging hormones and a pretty woman will make them take notice. As for settling down men pretty much settle down when they want to there is no age limit for something like that. Some men never settle down.When they are ready they will.
