30 minutes a day is recommended to maintain a weight - 45 min-1 hr is used to lose weight. So 3 1/2 hours A WEEK isn't excessive at all. its normal (30 min a day)

Not at all, 30 minutes of cardio a day is perfectly normal and is the regimen I try to follow as well. As for that I am a zero and I do that to stay in shape. It's fine as long as you maintain a proper diet.Meaning don't starve yourself also.

Find out your target heart rate and try to achieve that. 30-45 min a day of cardio will strengthen your heart and body. Just remember if you get faint or dizzy you're over doing it. Also vary your cardio, jog, swim, bike, skate, keep active. Just keep it steady and don't hurt yourself.

depends on if you are doing it all at one time. the recommended is 30 minutes a day which is equal to 3 and a half hours a week. thats what my doctor has me doing in walking so the answer is that amount is fine if its split into daily times.

it's actually on the low side...

for optimum health you really need 60 minutes of exercise daily, with some high intensity cardio performed several times a week as well.

Not at all. Since more people are obese than ever before, it is recommended that we work out at least an hour a day. Some people choose to work out every other day. That's good too.
